Emerson Creek Pottery

This giveaway is now closed with 292 comments. Thank you to all who entered. Congratulations to the lucky winner ~ Nad!

I just adore pottery and I'm sure you'll fall in love with Emerson Creek Pottery just as I did. They offer a huge selection of pottery for your home. I was blown away with their selection and wonderful design choices. Their pottery has been featured at Monticello, Mt. Vernon and the Smithsonian Institute, as well as in fine homes across America.

Each one of their pieces is hand made, hand painted and fired in a glass kiln. No template or stencils are used. Every piece is a unique creation and no two pieces are the same. They currently feature 15 different lines. And of course all of their pieces are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, lead free and oven proof.

I received their Dragonfly Pasta Bowl and it is gorgeous. This is one flawless piece of work! I thought it looked lovely in the photo, but it's absolutely breathtaking in person. We have used it for pasta, salads, soups, the list goes on. It's a great and practical bowl for our kitchen. It has to be one of my favorite pottery pieces I own.

You have got to go and see what Emerson Creek Pottery has to offer. You will be amazed at their amazing selection and beautiful patterns. If I could have them all, I would!

Emerson Creek Pottery would like to offer TWO of my lucky readers a Tea/Coffee Mug. You get to choose your own pattern. Lucky you!

The mug will be for me - moms need their tea / coffee! In a stylish cup, nonetheless.

I like the pink cancer awareness mug. Thanks for the giveaway!

I hope the Latte mug qualifies as a coffe mug/cup, because I'd love to have the Dogwood Latte mug. The dragonfly pattern is probably my 2nd choice, but that Dogwood pattern is in my favorite color...PINK... and the flowers are simply stunning!

Unlike most of the stuff I win, this one will be for ME, ME, ME! Is that evil? LOL

I also like their ceramic spoon rests. They look big enough to put 2 or 3 spoons on when I'm cooking, keeping the mess off my counters.

I would love to see an extra large tea/coffee mug (one that will hold 16 oz. of tea - a double mug worth). I use Bigelow tea bags, and each bag makes 2 cups of tea, which means I need a big mug or I have to waste 1 cup worth of tea brewing every time I make my tea. A mug this size would also be perfect to hold a cup of hot chocolate with a BUNCH of whipped cream on top, or a nice big serving of soup for my kids - when they're sick in bed they could sip from it. For colors, I'd love to see a butterfly design or a geometric pattern in pinks and purples.

This would be for me. I love the design of hand painted, it becomes a piece of me, my kids know it's mine. They use it on certain occasions, sickness, etc.

Lilith Silvermane said...

I also love the dragonflies, it's very much the perfect mug for the beginning of fall, when the summer heat is fading and there is warm apple cider to drink

I would love to see one with vines coming down from the lip of the cup... that would be cute!

This was a hard choice. I adored the snowman and the rooster is always a favorite of mine but I think I liked the pinecone the best. If I had my choice I would mix it up so that I would use a different pattern depending on the season. Snowman in the winter , Rooster in the spring , Pinecone in the fall and Blueberry in the summer. Thanks for Sharing~!

Emerson Creek Pottery: The property on which Emerson Creek Pottery sits was originally a 500-acre land grant from the King of England. In 1825, Silas Wade aquired the land and built his two room, and two story log cabin, now the home of Emerson Creek Pottery. How interesting!
